I have noticed a lot of people with Commodores coming on the Forum that only just found out about the show. We must be missing something in the Advertising of it all.
We will have to get the heads together and work out where we are missing out on the Advertising for next year. ...

Was a great day, old sckool muscle Commodores lined up on GM Holdens front lawn VB, VC, VH, VK and VL ABC and TEN did a bulliten, Saturdays Advertiser motoring section did a write up as did the Messenger newspaper (me) and the Gawler newspaper also.
Was a very rare VC Black Brock Commodore there, which was owned by the man himself Peter Brock, Sylvia had to put her rear on the seat where the great man once sat.
Keep your eyes on the news and the papers

Unfortunately the Black VC wasnt owned by Brock, it was however RACED by him at the 1980 Calder Park Grand Prix in a one make (aka celebrity challenge style) Race Of Champions. All cars were the brand new VC HDT and the purpose was to release these cars with a big bang - which all the drivers did!!!! Drivers included the Great man PB in the featured Black VC #7, blank ( wot the ) Johnson - in probably the best car he has driven, John Bowe, Jack Brabham and a couple of F1 drivers. PB won one of the 3 races that weekend in the #7 with John Bowe collecting outright honours. The cars were later sold on to dealers where most of them were srtipped of their roll cages, signage and sent of to unsuspecting owners!!!!!!! Hah to own a piece of history like that, there is one for sale atm for over $150k in perth.
