Just a thought, How are you going to let everyone know about the pre judging??? As it is not on the entry form. Perhaps for the ones that have entered already send them an email. But good idea for the ones that can make it to be jusdged on the Saturday, will certainly make the Sunday judging a lot quicker and easier. _________________ Cliff - Club Website Commodore Owners Car Club of SAwww.coccsa.com

G'day all How's the cops been with this show in previous years? I'm sussing out all the angles here so if I do enter, I have a 'happy' day I'd prefer not to tow her, but will if it's a safer option. I'm with judging on Sunday only - that'd be my preference

Hi Carly (I persume) The past two annual events have been SAPOL happy, we are trying to create an appreciation for Commodore's and their owners (the reason for entrants with plenty of cash thrown at there commodore's on show) unlike the publicity currently in the media. Year 1 2007 @ Cheltenham racecourse SAPOL in attendance and contacted me after the event appreciating the efforts of entrants and organisers. Year 2 2008 @ Birdwood Museum SAPOL in attendance and contacted the Museum staff with accolades for entrants and organisers. At ACD we are a non profit organisation and have in previous years donated plenty of cash to worthwhile Adelaide charities and we intend doing the same this year. I am currently looking at another team of 3 judges for the HDT/HSV catagories so the judging scores are not conficting to the judges doing the factory models, this seems to suit everyone I have spoken to lately (and will minimise the logistic issues?) Cheers Steve

So theres two catagories of judging (Fully Judged - i guess thats external, boot, engine bay, interior, undercarriage?) and (External Only - as the car sits, judged only on exterior) Now, i guess fully judged cars have greater chance of getting trophies etc than the external only judged cars? Is there any bias between the two? I guess fully judged cars would get more points than the exterior only cars which would place those cars in higher contention for a trophy? Having said that, though you could still pick up points if exterior only car was judged as fully judged even though its interior ect is standard? Can someone please explain how this works? ACD is potentially my first proper car show after lots of TLC so just want to know how cars are judged and what category would be best. Thanks!

To answer that question
Tick "FULLY JUDGED" for maximum awarded judged points, some entrants park their car and wander off and judges will not open doors, bonnets or boots (so make sure all that is open when you see judges approching your car) also the display only cars will be included in the judged by sponsors encouragement awards if the box is ticked.
Cheers
