2008 EVENT SUGGESTIONS

Hey guys, just have a mate here whos thinking about going to commodore day with us, Hes gonna get down there around 11 - 12 ish and wants to know if we would all love cd's for our cars,
His names Scotty and he runs TopGear Photography - Featured on this and last years Gazzanats dvd, and has ...

I have noticed a lot of people with Commodores coming on the Forum that only just found out about the show. We must be missing something in the Advertising of it all.

We will have to get the heads together and work out where we are missing out on the Advertising for next year.

Hi guys, congrats on a top event last year. Hope this year will be even better.

If you are going to mail out invitations to the entrants from last year can i suggest you include a simple a4 promo page with each one? Then you could put a note with it for people to post them up at work, local shops, car clubs etc. Wouldn't cost a lot to do but would give a lot of free promotion.

I have had this one thrown at me, would be interested to know what you think positive or negative?

To have a "QUEST FOR THE BEST" to find South Australias best street commodore, along the lines of "BLOOD, SWEAT & GEARS"
IE; to have 3 events held over a 12 month period 1, show n shine 2, dyno day 3, track day, the highest score from all three events combined, wins a huge trophy + cash award and bragging rights in S.A. for 12 months that they own South Australias best street commy.

Not my idea, but wish it was Cool

Have the show n shine already under organisation, have a dyno roller sponsored, just need a track !! can hire AIR but can only do 1/8 mile passes atm?

sounds like a good idea, i think we should start a new [censored] here in SA, the [censored], as the title would suggest it would be commodores only, future plan would be to become the most innovative [censored]....what do you think?

hhmmmmmm a [censored] in S.A ! Sounds good in theory, dont know if I can be stuffed with the logistics of running a [censored] as such ??????
