Wed Nov 12, 2008 3:23 pm by ****
I have noticed a lot of people with Commodores coming on the Forum that only just found out about the show. We must be missing something in the Advertising of it all.

We will have to get the heads together and work out where we are missing out on the Advertising for next year.

just an update on stuff ive been doing

first of all put sub box in boot went for drive and it kept falling over so to
stop this i went to work and made a bracket

this is fixed to the rear of the seat and the sub box

now the box wont move and will be hard to steal if someone decides to try

and the other thing that was done is the new boot light 24x5mm white LED's
in the rear garnish of boot

this serves two purposes sheds light across the floor of boot
and when you raise the spare wheel floor it lights up the tyre well so you can see what your doing at night as the normal boot light is blocked when you raise the floor panel

still have one more lot of these LED's to put in the boot but this time they go in the lid so when you raise the boot they shine down on the boot floor alot brighter than the standard boot light.

just an update on stereo
head deck installed
steering wheel module installed
RCA cable and remote wire all run into boot
only thing left to do is run power cable
find a good spot for the amp and wire it all up
so far all good sounds nice and looks good
had to put the pocket at top or huge gap was noticeable

here are some pics
