Kev's race car

Hey guys, just have a mate here whos thinking about going to commodore day with us, Hes gonna get down there around 11 - 12 ish and wants to know if we would all love cd's for our cars,
His names Scotty and he runs TopGear Photography - Featured on this and last years Gazzanats dvd, and has ...

I have noticed a lot of people with Commodores coming on the Forum that only just found out about the show. We must be missing something in the Advertising of it all.

We will have to get the heads together and work out where we are missing out on the Advertising for next year.

Was a great day for the first time.Ended up with 3rd overall for the day in my class.

Need to do a bit of work on the suspension as its a bit floaty through the corners and change the diff gears.

I was doing good with not even a scratch until the final 6 lap heat when I got boxed in down the back straight,pics show damage that needs repairing for next month.

Well done on 3rd place for your 1st meeting with it, not too shabby Evil or Very Mad

Will have to supply you some All Commodore Day stickers 1. to advertise the event on your track car and 2. to cover up the bruises lol

Thanks for that Steve and no worries with the stickers,next meetings on the first sunday of september so if you have a few extras I'll get at the c4c.

The dents will knock out and the bruises should rub out.We need to beef up the suspension and add more bar work behind the bumpers.

Went out for another day of racin yesturday(fathers day).
A couple of good close racin with a few battle scares but not as much as last month.
Took out 3rd overall again in my class.Another trophy. Smile

some pics from sunday.

Before sundays racin we made a few changes to the car to make it go better.We changed the diff gears from 3.08 to 4.11:1 out of a nissan pintara and also locked it up (welded).Replaced springs/shocks with new ones and she handles and goes better just have to slow it down better and turn the corners.

Next round is October 4/5 which is a round of the state titles so Im doing that instead of Mt Gambier.
