Hi guys,this is my new car which I pickedup today Friday 27/6

It"s a brand new RED HOT VESS.
All the usual SS stuff in auto.
factory fitted Overhead DVD,full size spare whel.
Dealer fitted 2100kg tow pack,mud flaps,SS mats,bonnet protector,phone holder.
All this for a measley $50,000 drive away.
Its in the dealers now going through pre-delivery and fitting of options.
New personal plates on order.
See ya's on the road skags. be very affraid.

Yer thanks steve,could of taken delivery today but they would of rushed fitting the tow pack,and that didnt sound to good so told em friday will do as I will be at work tommorrow and thursday.

Plates are nuthin special just KEVEE8.

Just lookin at the usual mods at this stage-air intake,exhaust,lowered just a little.

Looks the goods Kev, dvd dosnt look outta place there.
Bet you are out putting some kms on her

Not many kays yet steve,just drove it home as Ive been doing my nightshifts.
Not yet but have been doing some research on the net to work out whats the best mods to get done and by whom.
Have to go back to the dealers tomorrow as they got the wrong mats(should be red ones)and the bonnet protector should have arrived.Things seem to take longer up here in the sticks.

Heading down in the morning to get the windows tinted at tint-a-car salisbury.Will post new pics on weekend.

Got the windows tinted at Tint-A-Car Salisbury last week,and plates finally arrived.

Looking very sweet Kev, I really like the look of the VE, Must be one of the best looking Commodore's apart from the might VH

just a quick update guys.
Just had the 15000km service this week.
And removed those rediculously large holden badges from the boot and fitted a chev grill with a red badge.Also the commodore badge on boot,but kept all the SS badges.

Have been having a few dramas of late,been back to holdens about 5 times so far and now the trans is playing up.They took 4 tries at replacing the dash cluster as they got the wrong ones each time and on 1 occassion they changed the readout above the radio instead of the dash cluster readout.And also the SS badge on the righthand rear door is half hangin off(these are actually covered under warranty)so sould get new one fitted soon.

Will be at the SMASA show.So should catch up then.

Been back to holdens 3 more times with trans problems,they recon they put 2.5 litres of fluid in it on the second occassion and said it should be fixed.Next day trans still doin same,went back third time for more tests for holdens and now a new trans has been aproved,waiting for call to take it in once again.

On another note,had loan cars each day and the best one so far had to be a demo SS sportswagon with manual trans,geeze do these things go hard and lots more fun than the auto.If I have any more problems with this it could be gone for a manual SS sportswagon.

Anymore air con faults ? Mine is starting to play funny buggers, have reported it to GM Holdens direct line (lucky sponsorship contacts lol)
