I will try and get a pdf file posted up here and on the main page (but I know you already have one Steve Cool ) but will for those that havent !

Also I have been approched by Gary & Andrew from the V8 simulator wanting to be apart of ACD this year, I will have a disscussion with the committee on this topic, who's the fastest V8 driver ? trophies for those that are quickest !
Thoughts ???? would this item be used ????

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve,

Entry about to go in the post this week. I am just wondering should i be lucky enough to be inside - what size area are we being allocated? I'm putting together a couple of ideas for a display and need to know if what i've got planned will fit. Actually looking forward to this one as it's been nearly 25 years since i've had a car at an indoor event ( had a LJ Torana entered in the old Hot Rod Show at Wayville back in 1985)
The simulator sounds like fun, even though i'm crap at most computer type games i'd have a go - perhaps you could have a trophy for the most crashes then i might be in with a chance!!!!

Cheers for now,

Steve

Simulator is a great idea for other events, but think it would take away why people come to these events......... to see the cars. I just think it would be a very LARGE distraction

I somewhat agree Scott Twisted Evil He is rather expensive anyway and after last year I would be better off finacially sticking to the basics Cool
Still the punters need some sort of entertainment to keep the boredem at bay, I could stare at quality Commies all day in one place to stay unbored !

Cheers

Steve

Check with Anthony From Bridgestones Windsor Gardens he might be able to help you with the simulator and $$ (he will be a sponsor very shortly, just completing his forms now).

From someone who likes the cars, but also gets bored crapless sometimes, i would enjoy something else to play with on the day if the price was right...OR FREE!!!

I smell a donation....
:-)

ANyhoo, will chat more at length at Comm meeting

Have asked "simulator" man to the next meeting to explain the details to you all, prehaps our sponsor's should also be invited to these meetings ?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Scott,

We are coming up to Darwin for the Aust Sprintcar Title at the end of May, any chance of catching up and having an opportunity to have a look at your car?

Cheers,

Steve Arnold

Hi Guys,

Have just realised ACD #4 is on the same day as the Bay to Birdwood, hope this doesn't rob the event of important patronage!! Could have a nasty hangover as Sat is AFL Grand final as well. (might have to have a sickie Fri to clean car)
Will be there none the less!!!

Cheers.

Steve.

Hi Steve
No Commodore's are eligable to enter Bay to Birdwood (vintage) yet, but I see what you mean, with another car related event on the same day again!
Maybe all those standing on the side of the road watching the vintage's go by can head down to Angle Park after?

AFL Grand final (phhhhttt) but I will still watch it, my team won't make it Laughing

We get back from Europe on the 25th of September 2010 @ 8.05 am but we will still have the Commy clean and entered (display only Rolling Eyes ) with our jet lag (so please excuse us if we are a bit under the weather) on the Sunday!

Cheers

Steve

Hi Everyone,

Forum has been quiet lately, how are things progressing with ACD#4? Have plenty of cars already entered ? Have a club meeting tonight so will tell everyone to get their bums into gear and enter.
Heading to Melbourne the weekend before ACD#4 for the HSV Nationals ( 4 day event) so is going to be a couple of busy weeks, know one thing for sure gonna be sick of cleaning cars that's for sure!!

Cheers.

Agreed it has been a bit quite in here and at the post office box also Embarassed

I'm starting to think Adelaidians don't want to show their Commodore's anymore, has the ACD novelity worn off ?

Last years poor numbers I put down to the poor weather, but this year that isnt an excuss as we are undercover in a pavilion ?

Time will tell I guess, but I do look forward to catching up with you Steve and taking another perv on that perfectly clean HSV of your's.

Cheers

Steve
